- Alex Petrosanu is a young visual artist from a certain city in a different country. He creates digital representations of parallel realities and daily moods. Far from being abstract, his work is based on the subjectivity of you and me. Therefor, the question is not “what did he mean by this?” but rather “what do I see in this?”. The tables are turned. Introspective art becomes yours’ to remix. You can play with the reapearing faces or give new meaning to the unrecognisable familiarity of certain places. The final purpose is that of transforming what is into what could be. Again and again and again, you can break and repair anything you see because nothing is real unless you want it to be. This ideea stands at the core essence of every piece of work in the Zilnik mix. Zilnik is a multidisciplinary art mix labeled Alex Petrosanu. Having been realised, piece by piece, through different periods of time and various states of mind, Zilnik is not another “project”, but a hands on visual tool for a personal art tour. In believing that image is not complete unless it's written equivalents make it so, Alex is supported by Andreea Marcu - responsable for writting this and that.
